Fair Work First Policy

The Finzean Bucket Mill Community Company agrees to the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First principle. We agree to:

  1. Pay Real Living Wage as minimum.
  2. Give Effective Voice to empoyees, with the provision of appropriate channels for workers to
    have a voice. As a micro-business, we do this by having regular 1:1 employee meetings where
    workplace issues can be raised, outwith conventional employee performance review
    procedures.
  3. Workforce Development with investment in training and development for employees.
  4. Zero-Hours Contracts: we do not use zero-hours contracts.
  5. Workplace Equality: We do not contribute to a gender pay gap and make sure we have an
    inclusive work environment.
  6. Flexibility: we offer flexible and family friendly working hours.
  7. Fire and Rehire: we do not use “fire and rehire” practices.
